Mr. Leavitt practices commercial litigation, concentrating on real estate, partnership, and corporate disputes. Mr. Leavitt’s background in business administration influences his approach as an advocate and counselor, and whether representing clients in connection with leases or property ownership rights, business disputes, or other matters, Mr. Leavitt brings a nuanced and zealous approach to the pursuit and advancement of clients’ goals.
Prior to joining The Opus Law Firm, Mr. Leavitt was an attorney at a firm dedicated to landlord-tenant litigation. During law school, Mr. Leavitt completed an externship for the Honorable Ernest M. Robles, Judge for the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Central District of California, during which time Mr. Leavitt gained insight into the behind-the-scenes ongoings in a judge’s chambers, as well as an understanding of the complexities of bankruptcy law, both of which serve him well in his current practice.
