Ms. Kohn is the lead paralegal for The Opus Law Firm. Before joining The Opus Law Firm, Ms. Kohn served as an in-house paralegal for a publicly-traded company, where she specialized in regulatory affairs, entity formation, and mergers and acquisitions. In addition to her transactional legal experience, Christine has volunteered at the California Innocence Project, providing free legal services to the wrongfully convicted and working to improve laws and policies in the California justice system.
Ms. Kohn earned her Bachelor’s degree from the University of California, Santa Cruz, where she majored in both Legal Studies and Sociology. She graduated Magna Cum Laude and was awarded Highest Honors in both of her majors. Upon graduation, Ms. Kohn was admitted to Phi Beta Kappa, an exclusive academic honor society.
After completing her degree and working several years in the engineering industry providing support to engineers at one of the nation’s leading engineering firms, Ms. Kohn was admitted to the ABA-approved Paralegal Program at the University of San Diego. She focused her studies on areas such as real estate law, civil litigation, and legal research, and she was awarded with Honors upon completion of the intensive program.
Ms. Kohn is a self-proclaimed beer enthusiast and is associated with the local craft beer and craft spirits industries. In her spare time, Ms. Kohn enjoys running, traveling, and outdoor activities.
